Furaibo (風来坊, fūraibō) is Japanese for a wanderer:
someone who arrives with the wind, stays curious, and moves on when
it changes. It is the spirit we build for.
Our mission is to make travelling, learning and meeting people feel
like play, with AI and technology that stays out of the way.
The best days away, the best lessons and the best conversations all
feel like play. We build apps and the AI behind them so that more
days feel that way, and fewer are lost to planning, paperwork and
waiting.
What we make
- Travel. Apps and AI agents for the whole journey: planning a trip, finding your way on the ground, discovering what is nearby, and staying connected across borders. This island is a small taste of how we think discovering a place should feel.
- Learning. Tools that turn language study and practice into something you want to come back to: short, active, and a little bit silly.
- Meeting. Media-rich ways to find your people and actually talk to them, with privacy and safety built in.
How we build
AI belongs in the workshop, not at the wheel. Our in-house systems
help us plan, build, verify and ship faster, while people stay
accountable for the decisions that matter. Practical delight over
hype.
About this island
The geography is real: the coastline, the planning areas, the MRT
lines and every landmark's position come from public Singapore data,
squeezed through a fisheye lens around Marina Bay so downtown stays
walkable, and laid on a chunk of a small planet. The weather over
each district and the free taxis are live. The guide follows real
walking routes and public transport itineraries. Everything is drawn
from primitives by small scripts that stream in as you walk; it runs
on phones, and it is a little silly on purpose.

Plan 2019 planning area boundaries, NEA hawker centres, STB tourist
attractions, NParks park connector network and NEA real-time weather,
PSI, UV and LTA taxi availability datasets, accessed from
data.gov.sg and made
available under the terms of the
Singapore Open Data Licence v1.0.
